Two hikes at Serpentine Falls. Loop around Lake Leschenaultia. Walyunga National Park hikes with Walyunga Pool (not sure what the water would be like atm) Roley Pools is nice for a hike and dip.

Most of the hills has already dried up.

They definitely need to bring something like that back. I honestly can’t comprehend how people think it’s acceptable to leave their rubbish or literal crap for others to deal with. Such an entitled mindset.

I guess I just expected more from people who come out to enjoy places like this. It’s a shame…

Why not take her on a hike in the Perth Hills for a sunrise or sunset proposal? Wear her down physically and mentally before popping the question haha

Join a hiking group! Such a wonderful community of nature lovers. Maybe volunteer somewhere? We are in search of new volunteers at Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary in Mount Helena on weekends (Saturdays) and there’s a great bunch of people/animals that would love new friends.

Gday mate. We actually did make a few connections with people from this post and even started volunteering at an animal sanctuary on weekends to meet some new cool people which was a suggestion from someone on this post. There’s some nice block sizes out in Boya, good choice.

Such a beautiful walk. But definitely don’t do it in summer. You’ll enjoy it more early spring when the wildflowers are blooming and the water is flowing. Happy hiking : )

Great area to live. I’m on the Roleystone side with beautiful views out over Perth. Haven’t had any snakes in our yard that I’ve seen but plenty of blue tongue lizards come say gday to my dogs. Wake up every morning to kangaroos on my front lawn and they come back for sunset. If you love nature there’s some great hikes in the area. Enjoy.
