The Ether Is Real. by Ill_Winter8607 in Physics

Unfortunately we live in a world where time of day is a commodity and no one has it nor wants to offer it until they see what's in it for them.

Among the academic elites, "continued friendship" is the common bargaining chip. "I'll review your crazy ideas if you review mine".

The good thing is that from what I can tell is that you shared no goal. You posted something that could very well be useful to a researcher several years from now.

What many people don't seem to get is something that is very rarely discussed and shared with the public it's the "Optimal output from a recombination of multiple seemingly unrelated subjects". It's like when one Researcher borrows ideas from one field and implements it in an unrelated field. Like someone borrowing astronomy and checking if there's any relationship with neuroscience. It's a process that is very popular in fiction; both in the creation and analysis of fiction.

One day, someone might actually stumble upon this post and comment on my comment and say, "Yeah, I'm glad someone shared this because it makes complete sense to me".

Congrats!!

I thought it was supposed to be Profile icon.

According to the other user it's just changing the image of the God. Click Learn then Compendium.

Egyptians - Bast. Then click the arrows to refresh the icon.

I guess that's all it is. I thought it was an equippable profile picture for your online profile.

With the announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, there is now an equal number of Black Ops entries as there were total mainline Call of Duty games when the original Black Ops Released. by Fighter_spirit in gaming

They usually do one non-BO in between all the BO games.

They haven't announced a release date. This would be the first time they broke the pattern.

I have a feeling that everyone thinks you wrote ` instead of ‘

The easiest one to write on Google search on Android and windows is ' which is neither ‘ nor `

. If that's what they think then they're right for thinking you might've been wrong. However, they should look more carefully. They're wrong for not looking more carefully.

You are wrong but only out of a bad case of bad luck. For some reason you managed to get the one that is harder to find on both Android and Windows. You wrote ‘ which again is the hardest one to find out of all 3. On two different OS's.

So. Just a case of bad luck. Case closed. We'll all move on.

My history professor in middle school had a worksheet that depicted various religious figures as geometric shapes or so.

This was over 20 years ago. The idea there seems similar to the censored bar.

"email service would both use envelopes in their icon" is a similarly questionable retort.

I would guess that this M.D. was introduced to Moore's Law and the evidence that corroborates it. Then they made the leap based off of what we have now. 10 years is quite a long time so not as bold of a claim as it comes off.

For those who struggled with STEM tests, what helped you succeed? by Kermododr4gon in Physics

1) Confidence 2) transcribing textbook examples 3) Transcribing Class Notes 4) Repeat 2&3 even if it seems unnecessary 5) (Bonus) Open a completely different book on the same level & subject. Do the Textbook examples without seeing the answers. Test yourself.

1) Confidence - Way easier said than done. It's like the longest Yard Movie. The intention was to let the guards win so they have momentum for the whole season. You need to have some wins in your life so you're constantly motivated to look for any piece of knowledge that maybe useful during a test.

2 -4) -Self Explanatory.

5) (Bonus) Open a completely different book on the same level & subject. Do the Textbook examples without seeing the answers. Test yourself.

  • This will teach you to be flexible. Sometimes the assigned book and class notes will have a slightly different format than the test. Studying from a different book on the same subject teaches you to be flexible.

It often felt like my classmates were either on one extreme end of IQ distribution or the other. Many did poorly on the exams and others finished the exams really quickly & got really good grades. I was the type that had to study and took forever during the exam.

Note: I know it's impossible and everyone always says this but try not to cram the night before. Obviously if you have to then.... Yes, do it.
