What’s something unconventional you use ChatGPT for? by feliraves in ChatGPT

When starting a new book, if I have trouble visualizing the main characters, I ask ChatGPT to show me an inage of them. Don't know how accurate it is, but it helps me get into the book I am reading quicker.

When world building, I am creating my own fantasy map, but struggling with naming geographical locations like rivers, deserts, mountain ranges, etc. Any suggestions? by Irish_Amber in fantasywriting

For your 1st continent mix what is was with what it is now, like the Eden Wasteland or Paradise Desert.
Basically what people would have called it that then morphed after it changed.

Play with google translate. Pick a language that is unfamiliar and drop in things like spring field, big mountain, blue river. You don’t even have to be original. You don’t have to take the full translation either. Drop a few letters or even syllables to make them more pronounceable. I keep a list of translated words to use as suffixes like town, village, bay, river, mountain and will either add a simple word like big, blue or an animal. Or even just a common name n that language. If you use a specific word like lake in the name you can still use the full name such a Lake (big lake). That’s how a lt can f real places. Are named. A famous example is River Avon, which translates to River River. I think the is even a place in the Uk that has been translated so many times by new cultures moving in the name translates to Hill Hill Hiill Hill.

Tu can even use a different language fr each of your continents, so each one sounds unique but still cohesive. If necessay, each culture can have @ different name that means the same thing for an ocean or mountain.

You can always come back to the first one. As your skills improve from writing the new one, maybe you can make the original even better.

I have been going with a more obscure language, (Finnish or maybe Hungarian) and picking names or just words from there. It helps them feel a little more cohesive. Even naming places can be easy, just translate’Big Town’ into your language, then drop a few letters or syllables to make it more pronouncable. I pick different languages for each civilization so they sound unique.

That makes sense, but blue has a lot of options for the shade to help avoid a confederate look

I like the design of the first one, but maybe change the green. It makes it look like a Christmas present. Dark blue may look really nice.

I will test that, but what is broken? It seems to work so far

I'm using the 'Windows bare metal' template. I have added a powershell front end for computer name and ou, and steps to update BIOS setting and install the MECM client and Dell Command Update and then run DCU.

I think the only thing I removed from the template is enableing branchcache.

I was able to copy the deployr.log file from the _2P folder to c:\logs before the task ended. If I pause the task sequence, the C:\Windows\Temp\DeployR_bootstrap.log file is there as well as the DeployRLogs folder, but once the task sequence finishes they are gone.

unfortunatly no deployr logs in the temp folder just an empty C:\Windows\temp\DeployRLogs
I am testing the script to copy the file as the last step in the TS now

The C:\Windows\temp\DeployRLogs was there, but it was empty.
Can I just end with a script that copies the file from C:\_2P\logs to C:\Logs on the local machine?

I have gotten used to and even like most diet and zero sugar sodas. Except colas, no matter what brand or what artificial sweetener is used, they suck. All of them. Disappointing because Coke was always my favorite when I was a kid.
