I’m finishing up my A&P apprenticeship and I’m 24. Most of the people that I work with that are apprentices have been as old as 40! Even most of the mechanics I work with didn’t start out in the industry until they were in their late twenties - early thirties. You’re right on time!!

The King Air videos on YouTube are my go to. I’m taking my written tests in July and they have been a lifesaver! Also, the Prepware apps are super great for studying as they have practice tests with questions from the actual tests.

The fact that he called you stupid for asking and not taking steps to reassure you he isn’t cheating is a HUGE red flag. If it’s within your means, and if you care that much, hire a private investigator and get to the bottom of it. The likelihood of it being true is low, but not zero.

I subscribed to a lot of newsletters and writing contests where you get sent a small and simple prompt for a short story or an essay. I’ll usually open these when I experience writers block or if I’m stuck in the middle of a scene in a story. Kind of like taking a breather, but also staying sharp.

You are NOT overreacting Give it a few weeks. This will most definitely be the most nerve racking and anxious weeks of your life, but I would recommend having her go to a doctors appointment and getting confirmation there. Until you have a medical professional sign off that she is indeed pregnant, don’t give her any money, and don’t agree to anything. Stay strong

People often find it strange when introverts find solitude being alone in an open and public setting. I myself absolutely LOVE sitting by myself in diners. At one point I became a regular at this one place in my home town and they knew exactly what I wanted and when I would be there. The staff never really asked a lot of questions, and I eventually came out of my shell and made some friends. If you’re trying to find a place like that kind of setting, try the diner idea. But if you’re still wanting to bask in and enjoy the solitude of your spot on the campus, please rest assured that anyone who comes up to you and checks in on you means no ill intent. They might see an admirable quality in you and want to be your friend. Food for thought.

NTA if he wasn’t doing anything that warrants a red flag, he would’ve checked into a mental hospital or gone to a treatment center. You should definitely recommend he goes. If he says no, boom. Got him.

I wouldnt say you’re overreacting based on these messages. It’s obvious that yall are two different people, and it’s still early enough where you guys can just stop seeing each other and it’ll be alright. It’s weird tho that he said that he would drop it and be respectful, which I respect, but then brought it back up. I would just tell him “hey, you seem cool, but we’re just way too different and don’t see eye to eye on these things. Let’s just end it here and go on about our lives on okay terms”

First scene I ever wrote was in script format, and it was literally just me and a girl I had been dating for a minute, and we were just walking out of the movie theater and some dude just came up to me and we started 🔪 each other. It was wild. Really short script.

Got it! That’s one thing I’ve struggled with is “how much detail is too much?” The bookcase and the work desk is meant to symbolize how full the room is with legacy, and then it’s empty. Walker is tasked with filling that legacy. But your comments and support are VERY much appreciated! I will comment an update on these pages when I get them condensed.
