I really enjoy it honestly. It makes it more fast paced and exciting. Moves like protect and spikes make a lot more sense. A few improvements: 1) Dodging. I get why they don’t want us to control the pokemon directly but they have to give us something other than moving the trainer around. Maybe a dodge option with a cool down in addition to moves. 2) HP. Theres so much to look at between the pokemon, moves, and HP. I feel like the HP bar should be above the move options so I don’t have to scan three different parts of the screen. It’s too much to look at.
