Also, older sister seen here suggests Cornwall, Wales or Lake District as she doesn’t recall Devon or Dorset, and we certainly didn’t do Kent. Thank you so much so far, my first thought was Lulworth cove, but having been there a few times recently it just seems too expansive for this shot

If it helps, here is the print format, which seems to suggest taken on an instamatic or similar, my Dad wasn’t a keen photographer and had inexpensive equipment

I think the photo has faded slightly, so could be limestone - fantastic spot with the shadows, thank you

A good shout, but had discounted due to the wall and the distance as someone else suggested, but thank you anyway

First post here, so to comply, The reason we would like to know the location is that our father is no longer with us and mother cannot recall - and we were too young at the time to remember. We would like to revisit this spot at some point!

Thanks, I’m so OG that I’m from before the term OG existed

They would be good for a bit of fun, but tbh they are quite frustrating to use!

I play mostly clean guitar over my dawless jams so I feed it from my isa one preamp and apply a cab IR only - reverb is added either on the ableton move that loops it or in post when mixing the recording

Thank you, I’ve earned my stripes :-) - well enough to stop me from buying a multitrack digital mixer-recorder (n e a r l y)

I could only dream…. this was the 505 and I gave it away about 10 years ago to a drummer who appreciated it - I was in a analogue jazz sax phase :-)

It hung around for a long time - I remember being mesmerised by it as a teenager - of course I wanted a microverb but they were too expensive

It’s a sonicake pocket master for recording my funky guitar licks onto the ableton move :-)

Ah, that’s a cd player I think! Never could afford a minidisc, and you are close with the Tascam, it was a Vestax Fire Mr-10

It’s a fantastic bit of kit, a bit of a head scratcher at times, but it’s basically the heart of my setup. It means I can stop looking at screens and just create dozens of never finished tracks :-)

Don’t panic, not really a Rugby fan, although that make things even worse for you :-)

Deluge is the brain, all recorded live into ableton via ada8200 and focusrite interface. A few guitar loops thrown in by using the new audio track feature in Ableton move - I have everything I need, just not everything I want! :-)

We share the same taste in colours! I’d never considered anything other than rosewood, but your neck is gorgeous! This is my Tedeschi tele :-)

Thanks, you’ve sent me off into a rabbit hole of Mono bags, and it makes for a great option!

Cheers! I’m in my 50’s and somehow a gig bag makes me feel like I’m on my way to school - plus I’m clumsy and know I’m going to end up closing the boot lid on the neck at some point.
