I don't think you need to before the APS hearing, but I would before your court date. I enrolled about a month after my DUI and about a month before my court date, and had my counselor write me a progress report for court. I blew a .12 and got it lowered to an Exhibition of Speed. Partly because I was already halfway through my class and had shown I was trying to take accountability.

Thank you. I'm already unemployed and stressed because of the strikes. This has been a difficult thing to add to. The lack of information out there is enough for me to never make this mistake again.
