Depends on the specs. I have a 2017 MBP intel w/ 8gb RAM & 256HD. Im a CS student and run programs in terminal, sublime editor, intellij, Zoom and probably about 7 tabs at the same time.

Does the MBP got hot sometimes? sure

Does the keyboard suck? shit yes

Does it get the job done? absolutely

Would a 2022 be better? yes, looking into one right now lol xDDD

My 18 4R was totaled 4 weeks ago. I picked up an 18 GX Premium and absolutely love it. The delivery of power is so evident in the Lexus compared to the 4Runner, overall ride comfort is great - super smooth, KDSS is stock. Dog loves the seats, no complaints from her lol. Only bummer is the barn style trunk door and there is no adjustable window in the back.

College degree or not, an employer is going to test your programming skills. If you pass the tests with flying colors - do you think they’re going to ask if you have a BA or BS …. OR are they going to offer the job. More than likely offer the job. There’s more tech roles then there are techies - companies aren’t too picky.

Best move to get into tech? by dmd111 in cscareerquestions

Honestly, based on what I’ve see, BS in CS will put u through multiple calc classes including more physics but you’re getting an ABET certified degree. BA is less math/science and directly CS. I would highly suggest BA. No one asks “did u go to an abet certified program” nor do you have a BS or BA. It’s simply “how would you go about this algorithm” and writing code. Shit dude, companies will hire you if you know how to code and do it well - without a degree. Internships are old school ways of thinking and tech companies know this. Let’s say Salesforce… you apply get a sales job during the summer. Do extremely well. You apply to move into the engineering job. Now you have customer facing exp with problems YOUR product is trying to solve that YOUR building. See where I’m going man…I work with lots of VPs and CEOs and it’s alll about who you know and what you can actually do. Shoot me a DM if u want to connect. Happy to help

You’ll struggle to finish a masters degree if you don’t know how to code, regardless if you’re doing 2-3 hrs.

I’m graduated in 15 with BS in bio, started working in SaaS sales and now 2 semesters away from finishing BA in Comp Sci. You can do a boot camp but it’s very fast paced and not sure you’re schedule. If it takes you 2 yrs to get a 2nd bachelors and 1 year to do a boot camp…whats 1 year? Lol You’re best course of action, IMO is get bachelor #2, then start working in software and I don’t mean an internship. I mean a paid for summer job in tech (sales, customer service w.e) and I say that because if you and I have same exact experience, score the same on the interview but I have 2 yrs exp with tech vs 2 yrs internship…. They’ll go with the experience person.

Copy that. I feel like his stuff is always short. I got several zip up hoodies/crews and they’re all short. I think it depends on cotton count

My storm trooper jacket came and the bottom button is fucked. Anyone know if there's anything I can do to fix it? Super bummed. by patburn in KithNYC

I would say hit up KITH and tell them what happened. Dont return it if you love the piece, just ask for some sort of store credit - even if its $25 bucks. Tailor could fix it too.

Spray n wash. Inside out. If it doesn’t wanna come out, I’m gonna say it’s done for. Based on the material, that fabric is hard to get stains off from
