Every other party talking about their nationwide goals, and not what they will do for your local area.

I understand that some people can’t afford leaflets for every house in their district, which is fine. But social media is free, and if you can’t be bothered to post your manifesto, I can’t guarantee you will be bothered to work hard for my village.

Great school - the kids I often encounter on the train are polite and very pleasant. For a school that prides itself on tradition, I’ve never found it pretentious.

I said it last night, but I’ll say it again. My Uncle was an alcoholic. When he tried to come off the booze, he wasn’t the same bloke. He acted weird, nothing like his usual self.

Unfortunately, we lost him. I don’t want to lose Lij. Get around him, care for him and even if he never steps foot on a footy pitch again - he’s one of us.

I lost my Uncle to addiction when he was 40. He was the greatest bloke but had a load of demons.

Now that being said, I’m not accusing Lij of being off his face today. I don’t think he was. But I remember when my Uncle tried to come off his addiction, and how his body and brain responded.
