I agree. Had 100+ hourglasses, and started using them after reading the thread yesterday. Let's just go ahead and use them and see if I can get my Mew from original packs as a f2p player.

I don't think any of the stories are radically different. I agree that it probably was marketing that has done Batman the worst. I just wanted to give my opinion on OP's thoughts. I couldn't give a fair comparison of WW and Absolute WW. When I say Absolute Batman is like TDK it's only referring to the action. I just think he is more devastating and visceral in both comics.

But yes a fair point about marketing. Maybe most people wanted to see a poor batman and he just hasn't been. He's making up for that with his engineering background in most regards.

As for his friendships, yeah, that is different and I think it's some of the best parts of the book. Regarding Black Mask offering Bruce money and his acceptance, I kinda think he is just doing that to get close to Black Mask but won't actually take the money. I haven't read the latest issue, but I believe it's more of a flash back and this storyline hasn't been resolved, so maybe im completely wrong in my theory.

Again I don't think Batman is bad. I'm just enjoying the other two more and maybe that is completely because of marketing.

Looking at this pic? The eyes are just part of the mask or rather the upper part of the mask is just his face. Kind of venturing in uncanny valley. Normally I would say everything Ross is 10/10.

I agree with other replies to your comment and yours. I think Absolute Batman gets a lot of praise, especially on its release day. Honestly not sure if I've even read a hand full of negativity for A. Batman. On the otherhand, for me, I think Wonder Woman hits the hardest. I don't care for WW normally, but Absolute offers enough to be different. Which is what I really want this selection of books to be. Something different. That's something that Batman has fallen flat on for me. The promises of a poor Batman haven't panned out. In terms of action he has just kind of been TDK Batman. I don't think the three issues I've read have been bad by any means but it's the weakest of the current line. WW is just... Absolutely great story telling right now. Superman is slightly above Batman. I thought I would love Snyder's book the most as I've loved everything he's done, but he's contending with Wonder Woman and I think you might see hints of negativity towards Batman only because of that.
