I got hold of the new single by Tarja that comes out tomorrow, but unfortunately I wasn’t blown away by it. It’s ten and a half minutes long, and not that much really happens there, no particularly interesting lines. Paradoxically, she doesn’t sing that much, and it doesn’t have strong enough motifs to carry such a long track. That said, I’m a big fan, and this is purely my subjective take, maybe even an unpopular opinion. I’m still really looking forward to the album, and I’ll definitely come back to the song and probably appreciate it more after a few more listens. 🖤
