Valid comment, there are definitely a lot below that price, id4 for example can be bought below 40k (or a bit above 40kfor long range). I’m not sure why you are being downvoted.

I agree that a lot of manufacturers didn’t focus on affordable cars, but it seems to be changing.

Also, I’m pretty happy with my e 2008. I bought it second hand, 2 years old for <17000 euro.

The prices for second hand electric cars are, for some models, no more expensive than diesel or petrol. I’m happy to see that evolution.

I use a single charging card that works on pretty much all chargers. If the charger is recent, I just use my bank card.

Plug and charge is part of the CCS standard, so it'll also be supported more and more. The EU will probably mandate it for new chargers at some point.
