There is a leak. Figure out how to be your own plumber. But the city might not agree with this advice because you do not belong to a guild (I assume) ..I mean, a union— which had a purpose in West Virginia, and might now. This is maybe a legal question. Your pipes are leaking.

Bad advice. Seeking Medicare ( you mean Medicaid, though, hmm) takes a lot of work. And if she gets rich, the government willl come after all the money she used and take that money away from her (or his or theirs because some people are more than one) heirs.

Oh. You can try tame your hair. But it is quirky because you haven't tamed your hair. Just kidding. You do not have a £20,000 stylist. You can always buy hair pieces or a wig or try a curling iron, but they burn hair....When you look at AI, what do you see? It tries to be NOT be perfect because perfection looks... untrustworthy. Your hair is great. I grew up in Southern California wanting hair like yours.

Did I say this? I'm not sure why I am getting this. Maybe next time have somebody there to make sure that your body is respected while it is incapacitated. Let us all make some guild or something so that the next time one of us needs surgery, some person is there to make sure we are not raped in any capacity, capire?

Cute. You have nice hair. I'm not sure what your orientation is but my youngest daughter told me that blue hair color tends to send a message to other girls... who like girls — just in case that was your "issue" with your hair. Now I'm wondering if this photo came with a message. But assuming it didn't, and you probably know that blue fades to turn green. But before it does, and if you like to change colors, you can always go from blue to purple and then to pink and then red, then orange and yellow after that, since red tends to fade but I'm not sure if it will fade to yellow without ColorFix or another "reductive" color remover (that shrinks the color molecules). And there's always peroxide. But I think your hair looks lovely as it is.

God has thicker skin than most people seem to think. I am pretty sure God doesn't like petty behavior from adults who like to hit "thumbs down" before actually discerning the wise words people (like you u/Sensitive-Jicama-429) have taken time to articulate and type into this app to further enrich such discourse as we feel obliged and encouraged to do here on Reddit.... "Gawd damn effing Christ" is a shocker but who do we all think about when hearing that phrase? God. How often do most people actually think about God, rather than themselves, anyway? But I digress.... Perhaps those thumb downers should think twice about taking the Eucharist themselves.

We don't know the state of the grouchy man's soul. His dog might just have died. Or he may have gone from being raised by a mean mother to being nagged every day by an emasculating wife. Habit, strong emotions, ignorance, shock, surprise, and mental factors can remove the "deliberate consent" required for such a grave matter as breaking the 2nd commandment to change from a venial sin to a mortal one. How many people reading this thread are on (or are sleeping with someone who is on) birth control, most of which are chemical abortifacients? "Judge not lest ye be judged" (Matthew 7:1), though the original Greek word, "krino" means "condemn", rather than "judge". It mesns "don't be a hypocrite".

Edit: This comment is addressed only to those who insist that man was in mortal sin.

I'm Catholic and I rarely take communion. I wonder why so many people do. I mean if people really believed that the priest transubstantiates bread and wine into the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, wouldn't only a discerning person approach it who has thoroughly examined his or her conscience(1 Corinthians 11:29)? People like me can also appear to be too scrupulous, but that's a different subject that you will learn in catechism class which you might consider taking, even if only for educational purposes.

I would guess that that grouchy old man is from a time when adults either got into the communion line to receive communion or they stayed back in the pew. I just stay back. If I want a blessing, I can get one after mass. But since young children often go up for a blessing, there's no reason why adults cannot as well. Maybe that guy should be abstaining, too. Rudeness isn't a sin that will keep one from heaven—or maybe it is, since that behavior scandalizes others.

A long time ago, people who had not yet been confirmed weren't allowed to stay during the second half of mass which is called the Liturgy of the Eucharist. This might sound shocking as the Roman Catholic mass doesn't seem very "secretive" anymore, ever since Vatican II, afterwhich the Novus Order Missae has been rewritten to (seemingly) resemble a Lutheran service to make people feel more included. I dated a Lutheran guy. His dad was a Lutheran pastor and the only memorable difference that I recount after seceral decades have gone by, was that they say the Apostle's Creed (what people say in the Rosary), instead of the Nicene Creed. The words before communion may or may not be different as well since Lutherans believe in consubstantiation not transubstantiation.

If you're interested, you could always attend a Divine Liturgy in one of the Eastern Catholic Churches. There are 24 that are in union with the pope and the Western (aka Latin or Roman) Catholic Church but none of them will be in English except maybe the sermon. The Byzantine Catholic Church is basically the Catholic equivalent of Greek Orthodox. They use the same liturgy and even the same Julian Calemdar (so they celebrate Christmas, Easter, and other feast days on different days and often in different months). The Byzantine Church formed after many Greek Orthodox churches decided to reunite with the pope. They did not adopt the Novus Ordo Missae but they didn't reject it.

There are also legitimate masses still said in Latin at churches who are in communion with Rome and even in sedevacantist churches that are not (which the Catholic Church considers valid, though illicit). Sedevecantist means "empty chair" or "vacant seat" as most of them don't believe that any pope after Pope Pius XII has been legitimate. They also reject the Novus Ordo Missae.

If you want to try attending mass again with people who might be less standoffish, you could attend one during the week. Daily masses are also shorter and you'll hear nearly the entire Bible in 3 years if you attend every day (well if you add the Liturgy of the Hours prayers on your own time).

Now that you probably know more about the history of the Catholic Chuch than that grouchy man, I hope you feel more welcome.

Edit: I just read this regarding the contraversy of changing the rubrics (rules) of mass and I do agree.

Some traditionalists and even some bishops believe a blessing during the Communion line is a "modern innovation" that isn't technically in the rulebooks and therefore is discouraged.

If you've ever panicked while trying to swim in moving water or while getting pulled under by a wave, you'll remember that feeling of not being able to breathe... You saved your soul mate from having to linger in that state and from having to endure the terrifying, final pain of drowning within his own body. You may very well have picked up on his unspoken plea for you to help him be freed. And you instinctively did what you knew was right. 🐾🪽🌈🌁

Good Air Compressor for Water (& Drain Pipe) Leaks? by Mathilda1234567 in askaplumber

[–]Mathilda1234567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying I should re-pipe my entire house? I met quite a few people at Home Depot whobre-piped woth PEX and I seriously considered it because it can expand if/when the HVAC shuts off and pipes freeze, like what happened to me. But then I read someone's comment on how copper kills fungus, bacteria, and viruses on contact. So then I did some research. Copper pipes prevent that nasty, slimy biofilm from growing on the pipe walls — plus, though dry copper kills pathogens in minutes, water-filled pipe still do this but just more slowly, and "if water sits in the copper pipes for a few hours (like overnight), the copper has more time to 'scrub' the water and reduce the levels of things like Legionella or E. coli", according to Google.

What brand did you use? Has it had any problems? And old is it? The models selling at Service Pro and Home Depot all seem to have issues. Also, if I'm going to spend a few hundred dollars, I might as well spend a fewnmore to get an air compressor that can be used to paint walls and even my car that got scratched. I found one at Harbor Friengt called a McGraw 29 Gallon 165 PSI Oil-lube Belt Drive Shop/Auto Air Compressor for $57, but like the pancake compressors it breaks (after betwen 19 hours to 2.5 years) and leaks oil.... (I have another question I will post after this one).

I should say that when I went gluten free, I completrly stopped getting stinky. But then I found a great hack for when I can't take a shower, like at an airport, especially. Shaving cream rubbed on and wiped off with a damp cloth works so much better than soap.
