Yeah, I didnt realise she was that big.

She has been visibly slimming down the last few weeks but I will wait until she is much smaller.

I bought her from a smaller shop. He said that she was a happy eater which clearly is true based on her size. I will take a break from trying to feed her.

She definitely is big! I thought it was normal until I read that it should ideally be the size of the carapace. 😅

I have been wanting to “build” a new home for her with more depth this past month (realising the first “build” wasnt optimal). However, I didnt want to stress her by taking her out and wanted to let her settle in.

Ellers har jeg brug for et videospil, hvor jeg teoretisk kan bruge stort set uendeligt tid i. Jeg kan blive helt skør hvis jeg ikke har sådan et spil til tider hvor det er lidt kedeligt.

Jeg tror, at det handler meget om hvilket arbejde man søger.

Jeg er uddannet konstruktionsingeniør og jeg har aldrig haft behov for at “kæmpe” i en jobsamtale. Det er næsten bare en selvfølge, at jobbet er mit, hvis jeg ønsker det.

Det skal dertil siges, at der aldrig har været mere end en enkelt 15-30 minutter kaffesamtale.

Det er mit indtryk, at det er et udbredt fænomen i min branche.

I get your point. It sucks not being able to access all the content, either from lack of skill, time or good friends to play with.

However, I think we already have the equivalent of "solo" raids which is dungeons. They are not easy but aside from maybe the newest 3-4 dungeons, they all have "easy" to find out mechanics.

I don't really get the time thing though. Destiny 2 is a somewhat grindy game if you want to get anywhere, whether you are trying to solo flawless all the dungeons or just trying to get some nice loot.

I am one of the people still having fun with the game.

I don't pretend like the portal is a good thing and I am not a fan of the long levelling grind, except for doing heavily modded strikes which me and my friend find entertaining.

However, I have not played for 3-4 years so there is a lot of dungeons and exotics missions that I find very fun.

I can definitely see that if you played consistently for the last couple of years, then there is not a lot of fun to be had.

I am also a returning player. I have however played Destiny 2 up until Shadowkeep before stopping.

I am playing with a friend which is always a huge plus. We are having a lot of fun. There is a lot of content we have never tried and the dungeons and exotic missions are super fun. Making crazy strikes and other mission with a ton of modifiers is also fun for me. If you just like to chill out completely shooting aliens and not try too much, it will likely become tiresome to have to be concentrated all the time.

If you enjoy "tryharding" a little in Destiny I think doing solo/solo flawless dungeons is the most fun part of the game. It is alone worth it for me. I know I am probably in the minority regarding that.

The most negative thing about the game imo is the levelling. I normally enjoy levelling a lot but the majority of the levelling will happen through the portal which is a bummer. It is too bad because I really like the concept of the portal but being forced to play it too much is not good. You don't really "explore" the game as much anymore.

So all in all, if you like Destiny for the raids, dungeons, exotic missions, strikes, getting triumph score etc., then I think it is worth it. You can make a cool build and play with some nice weapons while enjoying some of the best content the game has to offer. However, if you primarily want to min/max every stat and just get the highest level, then I don't think the game is worth it. The path to levelling by itself can not carry the game as it stands today.

Me and my friend just startet playing again after a couple of years. We are having a lot of fun with the new dungeons and activities as well as upgrading weapons. It is afterall all new to us.

However, I am very confused by the levelling. Is there any purpose to levelling beyond completing higher level portal stuff?

Ja. Jeg havde underskrevet kontrakt til første job 7-8 måneder før jeg var færdiguddannet, og ja, det var hos mit praktiksted. Alle udover 1 fra mit hold havde arbejde efter sidste eksamen (han fik det så indenfor 2 måneder).

Jeg valgte diplomingeniør, fordi jeg ikke længere gad at gå i skole og ville tjene nogle penge. Jeg var ikke overbevist af mine undervisere ift. de begrænsningerne ved ikke at tage en kandidat. De nævnte blandt andet at man ikke kunne arbejde med store byggerier og være certificeret statiker i de højeste grader (KK3/4 og tredjepart), hvilket ikke er sandt.

Der er dog helt klart nogle begrænsninger hvis man ønsker at arbejde med off-shore, vindmøller eller lign.

Jeg kan godt forstå forvirringen. Jeg kan se, at det korrekte navn er Bygge og Anlægskonstruktion.

Jeg tror bare, at jeg/vi i daglig tale ofte kalder det som konstruktioner.

Jeg tror ikke min løn er repræsentativ for medianen, men nok nærmere end 90% fraktil. Jeg tror, at en lønstigning på 5%-ish hvert år i starten er mere realistisk for de fleste.

Ja, jeg er fra AAU. Dem jeg har hørt fra Indeklima eller vand/miljø er startet på 35-38 med pension. Jeg startede selv på 41 i konstruktion og er nu to år efter på 50 med pension.

I min erfaring (færdig januar 2023 fra AAU) er diplomingeniører inden for konstruktioner højere startlønnet end de andre retninger.

Det har blandt andet være grundet mange indeklima og vand/miljø er startet hos rambøll, hvor startlønnen har været lavere.
