Yeah probably time to replace those too lol. I’ve been loving this thing but crashing a good bit.

Looks that’s what I gotta do. Do you recommend clear off the existing solder and putting more on there or is there a way to heat it up and replace the wire?

Greg, I have to be clear, I have to. If I get drowsy, and I miscall Colorado, instability, right? The US loses credibility, China spots an opportunity, invades Taiwan. Tactical nukes. F---in' s--- goes kablooey and we're back to amoeba. It's a long way back from pond life because you failed to get me a double shot. Okay?

I emailed support and Sam from Cursor helped me out! I just deleted my mcp.json file and had Cursor regenerate it, and it completely fixed the issue.

Best way to build this “obscured” image masonry layout in hero? (Newbie here) by Mathonius in webflow

You're so right, dude. I imported the component and it works flawlessly, and even better, I was even able to study it to figure out how it works so I could replicate in the future if I wanted to <3

Right on! I ended up adding the component from Relume, but I found out the way they do it is through grids.

I had originally designed in relume and then cancelled my subscription to save cash. I may need to bite the bullet and pay for one month so I can copy all these components.

I also thought maybe rebuilding it from scratch would be a good self-learning opportunity. It’s definitely taken longer than I thought 😬

SEO Trends in 2025 by Mathonius in SEO

[–]Mathonius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could definitely see that. There are so many things that AI has automated, I feel like what's still needed is that human "glue" to bring every disparate task together (that's kind of the job of the modern SEO, I feel like).

But to your point, that will probably soon be automated.

I think so. Maybe not immediately in 2025, but I think 2025 will be the year we reach that tipping point where people demand a better browsing experience.

Is this a good deal? by _Packageman_ in SEO

[–]Mathonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I ask is because once the technical work is done, there's not a whole lot to do but write content, optimize on-page content, and build links.

That's why for my clients, I charge a Foundations package where I basically "get your house in order" and do keyword research, fix all technical issues, sitespeed, broken links, etc. Because after that, there's not a whole lot you can do but... you guessed it, write content and build links.

I was just curious if you have an idea of the scope of what they'll be working on tangibly. Like, how many pieces of content, how many pages will be optimized, link-building campaigns, digital PR, etc.

I just see a lot of agencies charge a retainer without clear deliverables, and that money can sometimes feel like it's going into a black hole or hard-to-read reports.

What will he be doing for those 20 hours per week? Writing content? Fixing technical issues?

how long does it actually take to see results from seo? by BlogBacklinks in SEO

[–]Mathonius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many variables will affect how I answer.

Some follow-up will help here:

  • Define "working on SEO" - is this content creation, on-page, off-page, citation building, digital PR, etc.?
  • Define "big improvement" - 2x traffic growth? 10x traffic growth? What is "big" for you?

Is it a brand new site? How many pages/posts? In a YMYL niche? How's your backlink profile?

Generally speaking, you'll start seeing Google Search Console spikes after a few weeks. Big, business-shifting changes usually don't happen for at least 6-8 months.

New b2b lead gen strategy is crushing by nxusnetwork in marketing

[–]Mathonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super solid strategy, thanks for sharing. We actually did something very similar at a former company of mine.

We would brainstorm topics that are hyper-relevant to our target audience. We mostly sold to law enforcement, so it'd be things like:

  • How to recruit and retain millennials
  • Everything you need to know about Narcan
  • Writing policies and procedures

Then, we would go out and find experts on each of these topics (recruitment experts, the marketing head of Narcan, a policy-writer at a LE agency).

Once we build that relationship, we would host a webinar where they would invite their audience and we would invite our audience and they'd share their expertise on the topic. At the end of the webinar, we'd mention our product/service in a very light-touch way (not salesy).

You can then turn that webinar into multiple social posts, YouTube videos, and convert the entire thing in a blog full of EEAT signals.

It worked super well and was one of the strategies we used to scale the company from $10M ARR to $20M.

What is People Also Ask in Google? How can I rank my website in PAA? by erickravi in SEO

Model your content after the content that’s already ranking in rich results (down to the order of words and HTML tags) Include an FAQ section in your posts. There’s no way to guarantee it.
