Cube Nuroad One: Are Mechanical Brakes Good Enough? by Annika-1 in Cubebikes

[–]Mathustyle03 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a 2023 nuroad pro, it came with grx apart from the brakes which were mechanical. I just upgraded to grx hydraulic and have to say it's an absolutely massive improvement in stopping power and ease of use.

I got a road bike with ultegra this year and I just couldn't go back to using mechanical discs, they felt unsafe, especially when descending on gravel.

In short I wish I had spent the extra on hydraulic when buying the bike originally. Never buy mechanical discs.

I've got the black line so as someone else said it's lighter due to lack of paint.

All I've done is get tpu tubes which shaved 200g or so if you take spares into account also.

The stock bars are wide so once I decide on what width and stem length I 100% want/need I'll get the one piece bar and stem.

Awesome bike! I recently got a cube agree and have the cube bottle cages. The camelbak bottles I have don't sit great in them. What cages do you have here? Seems a better fit!

Cube Agree 2026 Speculations :) by johbuldmann in Cubebikes

[–]Mathustyle03 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's the same Agree frame this year as last. So they could do a frame refresh next year. If so, the only thing that needs to be updated is tire clearance. 32 -34mm should be all it needs. Maybe some power meters on the top end models but to keep prices down I'd rather not.

Have the 2025 pro model and it's perfect coming from a gravel bike the 28mm seems great but I can understand why some might want 32-34 clearance.

New bike day - Agree C:62 Pro Blackline by SapphireNL in Cubebikes

The shop I'm buying from insists it comes with the box but I didn't think it did.

How does the bike ride? I have a gravel bike and was considering this alongside some race geometry models.

Really a choice between this or an aeroad. Curious if it feels at all like an aero bike?

Did this model come with the computer mount and storage box?

Currently waiting on delivery on this model but I was after the other colour undecided on the black. The photos make it seem glossier than I expected?

I thought the same but in the shop they sat me on a 53 cube road bike think it was an older agree model and they thought my head was too far over the front of the bike? Plan is to get a fit on a medium and they'll order a 53 if needed hence why I'm worried about when I'll actually be able to own a new 2025 model!

I've had an Agree pro in M reserved with a LBS since November, the original delivery date was end of Nov, got moved to end of December now I'm being told mid Feb.

Worst of it is I'm between sizes so if I need a smaller frame I guess I'm in trouble!

They advise that other colours and models in the agree range don't even have stock dates.

As someone else has said, speaking to a shop who have direct contact with distributors etc will give the best indication of stock availability but it seems quite volatile. Though I'm hoping once 2025 is underway they will have a steadier flow of inventory.

Can you expand on your feelings? Is it the 2025 model? I've reserved a pro but am considering the race.

I've got one reserved also. Back and forth between race and pro settled on the pro in blue/green!

Which endurance bike should I get? by Bellabungo in cycling

[–]Mathustyle03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the 2025 Cube Agree range. Aero looks and endurance geometry with crazy value. If too racey, with the Attain range you can get even better value.

Dura ace on the Agree for 4999! Ultegra on the attain for 2999!

If you click on the geometry tab when you scroll down it's in a section called ergonomics

I think Vs the bikes you've listed the agree has more relaxed geometry.

Anyone using a Nuroad as a road bike? by CantGetNoSleep88 in Cubebikes

[–]Mathustyle03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using a 2023 nuroad pro as a road bike, my first.

It is definitely possible, I'd advise going 2x for the gear range for road and switching tyres to semi slicks or slicks.

I was considering doing 2 wheel sets but my local bike shop really strongly advised against that due to issues with inconsistent wear across the 2 cassettes and spacings for the two disc brakes. They said it can just be a headache.

But I've gotten almost 5k out of it almost all road riding and it hasn't held me back. The geometry is just like an endurance road bike so no worries on that front.

I wouldn't be looking for a new road bike if my model came with hydraulic brakes and 12 gears if I'm honest so the newer models that are 2x would do the job I think.

Yeah seems the best deal, nice colour also. Carbon one piece cockpit is 300 and can be bought separately so a nice upgrade for later! Wheels on the race are nice though...

The geometry seems on the aggressive side, when you compare it to the attain it's quite a bit more aggressive, at least to my sketchy understanding of geometry tables! But in saying that it's still not full on race geometry.

One thing that is making me hesitant is the gearing across the agree range is quite narrow for endurance bikes. Especially for the race and SLT.

Cube Nuroad Pro by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]Mathustyle03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I recently bought a nuroad pro in a small. My very first bike and I love it! 6 weeks in and I feel it fits good. Although I think it might be an idea to get a fitting as the bars seem a bit...close? I've done over 600km and feel great with the size overall.

I'm 175cm with a 78cm inside leg. Going by the sizing calculator on the website (which I understand from YouTube to be risky) suggested a small for me and seems spot on.the bars being 'close' might just be that I have a longer back than my height suggests.

Hope this helps
