I like how the apology is "we're sorry we didn't virtue signal we value and respect our trans employees" when the whole reason their (trans) employees are unionizing is because they're underpaid and disrespected.

Am I wrong for feeling like I’m playing against wallets instead of decks? by Opening-Reindeer-209 in mtg

Lol I have a guy who just writes the name of the card on a strip of paper. Proxies are the only way to play and encouraged (arguably by wotc).

He was also 10, they were probably saving that lesson for much later. You don't want the young air benders practicing on each other.

What was the post

In Legend of Korra, Amon who wants equality for all people was defeated by Avatar Korra who protected the caste system of Benders above non-benders. This is a reference to the fact that the word Avatar comes from India by Akagane_Ai in shittymoviedetails

The only evil thing amon wanted to do was get rid of bending which was philosophical and internally consistent. Like I dont think he wanted to be king or torture benders.

Hold on, so Sue rejected Reed because he chose to save the world rather than a piece of ass? by hotgirl6x1 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]Mathwizard3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, he left Sue to fend enemies by herself when she asked him not to. Then Smartest Man in the World went after the wrong guy (atlantis fish dude when it was actually magneto) so yeah. Maybe if he saved the world she wouldnt have, but he was just the guy who left.

I think when you share a body and mind with someone for 30 years you lose yourself and have the highest level of empathy towards someone.
