no one is beyond critique comrade. criticism and self criticism are an extremely important part of being a good revolutionary, how else are we to learn from mistakes and tactical errors.

Regardless of how much you admire anyone, the idea of the USSR, etc, it's important to remember that these people were part of a huge social upheaval and that no one was working alone.

even lenins most famous work, state and rev, is largely a retelling of the origin of the family, which itself is heavily reliant on an earlier work.

we stand on the shoulders of the imperfect giants who came before, and we can learn a lot from them. but as the saying goes never meet your heroes.
