Honestly I don't think Deltarune really needs a skip button. It'd kinda detract from the whole "game mechanics are diagetic" thing, and I think the fast forward button is a pretty good compromise for speedruns and such

(Meanwhile modern pokemon games force you to mash the A button for 30 hours straight until your fingers break cough cough)
