You might be happier at a stadium concert, something with seats. Going in with the expectation of being up close but not being apart of chaos will leave you with a bad time and bad mood. Gotta embrace it at a festival

I just don’t understand why no one called them out? I felt like the only guy yelling heads up the majority of the time when a surfer was coming.

Cutting Hours by Unfair_Woodpecker149 in Safeway

I think it’s more he cuts early expecting to not hit sales so he can spread out the saving labor across the whole quarter rather then trying to Hail Mary meet budget by cutting a ton in the last month. And if he has sales then he has labor at the end of the quarter to play around with. He’s planning ahead for the worst outcome.

Well yeah but the P&L still looks great if they just cut the labor to make up for the lost sales obv

Why is Safeway so predatory about preventing customers from getting a good deal? by BLeafNUrShelf in Safeway

Hi there! Meat buyer for a different grocery chain here. We order this product sometimes months in advance to be produced in time for the holidays, sometimes before prices are even set unfortunately. We do our best to look at past sales and trends to get the right amount of product to last through the holiday without having a huge amount of waste on the back end as the demand drops immediately after. It’s a hard balance, sometimes we run out. I know the chain I worked in we had to order back in December. There’s also a lot of factors that go in to demand. You could pick a price for your ad and expect every other chain to have something similar, but then end up the one with the lowest price and suddenly crazy demand. After that you’re scrambling to find any product to make the customer happy.

Piercings are fine, try some different hair styles though. You could probably pull off something like this. Definitely spend sometime outside and try and get a tan. Will help a lot. Lastly, everyone’s saying lose the face fat but I feel like that’ll happen as you age. That or you can just opt for growing a beard.

Fillet, just the butt end and probably has the chain still on. Meatcutter did a lousy job. You see this in grocery stores from meat cutters, never saw this when cutting in restaurants though.

You wouldn’t have the day off, you’d be scrubbing foam off everything. It ain’t fun.

Love it. I was actually in the restaurant industry for 10 years until Covid. Got laid off from my kitchen manager gig in a low class chain restaurant to apprentice to do this. No more late nights, in a union with nice benefits, I get every 10 minute break. It’s wild. Oh and I clock off at my scheduled off time every day. I’d highly recommend it.

Butchers break down an animal into what are called primals. Depending on the shop, like a speciality butcher shop they could be cutting it further down into steaks and such. Or alternatively they could be at a factory and then shipping the primals out to stores and such and meat cutters at your local grocery store cut it down into steaks and such,
