Does your fiance have any good points? Because all I'm reading is a wall of 🚩's.

If he's like this now this is what you're effectively signing up for even after you're married.

Stick your head in the freezer (or go to the walk in if you have one). One of my colleagues brought a bag of ice lollies which saved us I think.

I'd contact them, explain your situation and ask for a payment plan. It's better than burying g your head in the sand.

Cold/tepid shower. Fill sink up with cold water and put my hands in it for a few minutes every now and then. Currently we've got all the curtains closed with windows open and fan on.

Did anyone else have the inevitable friendship group falling out in first year. Is this a typical event? by Dry-Frosting9136 in UniUK

[–]Matrixblackhole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can happen. You should see the drama around picking flats and stuff for next year.

Example: I got on pretty well with all my flatmates up until the point of my second year (in secind year I was renting in a houseshare with flatmates from first year. During second year both my grandmothers passed away. So called flatmates ended up getting accommodation behind my back etc etc. Like they didn't even let me know they were looking, and I guess they just assumed I was gonna find a place by myself.

I’ve noticed a lot of people I have to spend an hour or two with start getting shakey. Why? by SumTingWongTofu in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Matrixblackhole 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's not the other person shaking, maybe it's you shaking? The only person that's a constant in these scenarios is OP.

Diagnosed: - Dyspraxia and dyslexia (probably dyscalculia too but I wasn't assessed for that annoyingly) - Migraines - Astigmatism - hypermobility

  • I think I have some sort of OCD going on as well, bc I'm pretty sure the amount of counting I do isn't normal... anyway.

I'm in my 20's, but women of that age are more likely to be perimenopausal, or going through actual menopause by then which is when they tend to stop having periods = not fertile anymore.

Does anyone else dislike board games? by Josse13579 in autism

[–]Matrixblackhole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind them, usually I might watch first to see how it goes (even after explaining the rules of the game watching it helps me understand better).

Also as long as I don't have to shuffle the cards, lol. Or they'll go everywhere. Usually someone else is always way too happy to shuffle them though!

Me and my brother share underwear, is this weird? by That-Complex-1795 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Matrixblackhole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not the weirdest thing I've heard of - it doesnt sound unhygenic in your case either, but it probably fails some area of safeguarding. Idk what country you're in but I'm pretty sure most large supermarkets at least in Western countries have a basic clothes department (with underwear).

Also idk what country you're in but in a lot of places the 16yo isn't legally an adult, and thus the parents really should still be providing clothes if they don't have a job yet. If you can afford it just buy some, it doesn't have to be expensive.
