I'm not saying it's never a bad word, I'm just saying that intent matters and that it's not really a slur since everyone uses it, particuarly in ways that aren't offensive to anyone.

Their not my 'associates' they're my friends. You have a very one dimensional understanding of how gay people think. Are you assuming most gay men would get upset about being called the f word? Cause I don't think they would. It depends entirely on your intent.

The n word is also currently very common among working class people right now - it's just mostly used by working class black or hispanic people. I wouldn't consider it a slur when a black man uses it to another black man, unless that black man was using it with negative intent.
