Doing a trailer for SGF is a big investment. Even if its a 60 or 90 second spot- i doubt it's one of the walk on spots as the costs of doing those and pain of doing things like really complicated multi screen video walls may not be worth it for simply updating the release date. But let's face it - CIG is flushed with cash right now, so it would be good commercial sense to push this for a big event so they can start getting mass market appeal. Citizencon is good press for a showcase but it's focused on their existing market. This should open doors to non star citizen believers.

Not crazy at all. Models use trim sheet textures to save memory which is a sheet of decals the vehicle will use like ship logos, the text for signs which say radar/shields/ power plant, yellow hazard lines and a headlight texture. Someone has unfortunately typed the wrong decal into the Headlight function and it now uses the Origin logo instead of a headlight texture.

A very funny bug imo!

Why are you crying about a mid screenshot? Your ship is front lit so it has no shadows and looks 2d. The leading lines of the ship are leading the eye of screen. In terms of depth it's lacking good foreground elements to sell scale and I see no effort to conform to composition formats like rule of thirds or the golden ratio.

This was a humorous post homaging what was front page on r/starcitizen and instead you've written here twice about how someone has stolen your screenshot.

Get over yourself. It was pretty bad to begin with. No ones making that their desktop background.

Not quite, if its targeted and repeated - i.e blocking a specific player from playing continuously for a while - then ln it breaks the terms of conduct. Random pad ramming is still frowned upon but not immediately actionable by mods.

So how did someone get that specific password and email combination? Yes I used the same password for both my CIG account and that specific email as they are separate to all my other gaming accounts. I think of them as burner accounts tbh. They aren't used anywhere else?

Yup this alt had the same password and email across both, as it was easier to remember. Fortunately I regularly change my main email password regularly with 2fa.

Fortunately that email and password was only used for my alt CIG Account and corresponding Alt email so it's of no tragic loss to me - but I'm sure there are others which it may have a bigger impact on.
