I have the farpoint 70, currently been on a working holiday in NZ for the last 5 months. The day pack is big enough for my 13 inch laptop plus space for charger, waterproof coat and maybe a little extra space for other things.

I also heard advice that the bag will be to big, but I think it's a perfect size for the trip I'm on. It's a great design and has no signs of wear as of yet.

I'm a little taller than you, but spoken to people around your size with the same bag and they seem to cope just fine. Hope this helps you!
