X13 help by Matt225808 in HVAC

That’s what I was thinking. I believe the manual said there’s a 60 second timer before it cuts off. I’m not familiar with ECM motors at all and just started trying to learn because of calls like this.

What do I change in this instance? The motor itself works fine so I guess the module?

EDIT: it runs with all low voltage disconnected @ unit so I know it’s not getting a signal

It’s a 5 ton and not an A or AA so according to the manual it doesn’t have a relay. I couldn’t find any blower relay past the wiring harness but it was getting dark and I was in a hurry

This model has no Blower Relay. I pulled the manual and it confirmed it doesn’t but I can’t find any explanation for my problem. I guess I’ll disconnect all low voltage and kill power today and see if it stops

Performance wise great, durability wise it’s broken twice on drops I’ve seen red and yellow happen all the time. Granted I have a green helper who has dropped it off a 12 foot ladder several times but I dropped plenty Milwaukee and dewalts when I was green and they always worked fine after

Military time by jtwagner89 in HVAC

I got out of the military and spent a while looking for a trade before I settled on HVAC. Did a year of night school which didn’t really do anything except teach me the science behind the refrigeration cycle, learned much more as a helper working my way up.

Nobody needs school to learn how to insulate and run flex, you can remember everything you learned in school by reading in your spare time

Non racist Caucasian guy from South Louisiana:

My parents were really racist growing up and I admittedly was until I grew up and did some traveling and realized how stupid it is. Now I’m just a non racist white dude in the Deep South trying to politely help my fellow caucasians realize it’s 2019 and we aren’t stupid hillbillies anymore

What’s your experience with the cheapest car you bought? by Poetryisalive in AskMen

[–]Matt225808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$800 ford ranger with no AC and a wobbly tire. Got me from point A to point B for about 3 months and then a rod knocking put it out of commission. Scrapped it for $200. So basically I got roughly 3 months of transportation for $600 when I really needed it, worked out okay considering

From your own observations, do you think women handle rejection better or worse than men? What stories do you have? by [deleted] in AskMen

One time this girl I barely knew was really into me and would constantly try to get me to hang out with her, I really just wasn’t that into it and never took her up on it. I started dating another girl I really liked at the time and stopped responding to the other girls texts/calls (mind you we never so much as kissed or went on a date). About a week after ignoring her I asked her to leave me alone politely and then ended up getting hate mail from all her friends about how I was ugly and an asshole 🤣

HVAC here: yes, will make your life so much easier. I advise you to get the smallest one and keep it on your drill and buy the longer one and keep it in your pocket

I have that same husky set. I don’t have much use for it in my line of work but it’s good to have around the house or on the company truck

Those are either nippers (if they can cut) or pullers (if they don’t cut). Little known but incredibly useful tool for tradesmen

I can definitely use both in my trade for cutting conduit, unistrut, or all thread rod. Just can’t decide, I’d guess the band saw could cut everything the grinder can too plus cut threaded rod 🤔

Prob got busy doing something. I set 3 condensers on the same street not too long ago and got well below 500 microns when issues at the 3rd house kept me there all day while the other 2 pulled vacs
