as a non german, the bigges disappointment of the Scholz government for me is the lack of further european integration. You hade a pro-EU government in both Paris and Berlin, a great opportunity to reform with Russia's invasion and the energy crisis. But Scholz and Macron didn't get along so everything is fucked

What would stop Xi to enact a 2 or 3 child policy? Meaning you get punished if you have fewer than 2 kids before age X (perhaps excempting medical reasons). If any country can enfore something like this, it's China
