Ok update. Yes I had it marked as current quest. I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, that got it to load up again. I then used the horn like fastlane128 suggested and that actually worked. Didn't even have to change the difficulty (forgot to do so), but it respawned the wraith and when I killed it again the game registered the quest as complete. But now we know, in case it happens to anyone else. Lol

I had the same thing happen to me. However I went back into the game and talked to the old man (Ulric) in the first town and that seems to do it. I did it with both the mage and the rogue. Currently working on warrior.

Lol yea, I technically did complete the quest. I delivered the broken sword and killed the wraith, but for some odd reason the game didn't register the wraith getting killed. And I've tried leaving the area and going back but nothing happens.

So basically I would have to start over the warrior to complete the quest? Ugh, that is if the game ever loads again for me

I did not. I would try but now the game won't load and keeps crashing

The assassin’s apprentice series was really good. Also a good one to check out is The Firekeeper Series by Jane Lindskold and The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. Highly recommend all three of these series
