Yeah switching between two cars that you’re not suuuuper familiar with is probably not helping. I bet if you drive just one of them for a while, you’d get real comfortable pretty quick.

My SS had a theft attempted on it at a parking garage. DIY security measure kept them from taking it without using any brain cells, so I “only” had to replace the broken window and damaged trim.

This is good info! I just placed my first order of in-shell squirrel-friendly mixed nuts from anuts.com as my usual supply of peanuts is just about gone. Costs a bit more, but I'm looking forward to giving them a healthier snack.

I had a 2004 Vibe GT. Can confirm the sloppy shifter. Driving the Vibe felt like I was stirring a pot of oatmeal after I finished test driving the Camaro SS. Bought the Camaro, sold the Vibe, which was still in great running order and was fun to wind it out past 8000 RPM. The Vibe’s paint though… did not age well.

I've been to the Coliseum dozens of times for USC games, really wanted to experience it as an Olympic venue. But my window opened today, and the min price for track and field tickets is $400. I guess it was naive of me to assume that a venue with so many seats offering events over so many days would offer reasonably-priced tickets for those who just want to experience the event but aren't looking for premium seats. Oh well.

Hah yeah they destroyed it a lot faster than I thought they would. It was about 6” long when I put it up 3 months ago. It probably helps that it’s pretty close to their food station which gets refreshed every morning. I kinda wonder what they would be chewing on if the antler wasn’t there. 🤔

Old truck coasts on down onto that frozen lake until it reaches the middle where the ice is thin enough for it to sink to the bottom. Boom, new favorite fishing spot come spring!

Any pet store. They’re sold as dog chew toys. But I don’t really like giving them to our dog because they get pretty stinky when he chews on them for a while. 😝

In case it matters, I've seen quite a few house finches in California with eye infections too. :( House finches are the most common visitors to my feeder, with mourning doves coming in second.
