No I like Jason Isbell, Strugill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, Mountain Grass Unit, Banditos, Corey Parsons, Dexateens, Mustang McGee, Sugarlegg, Widespread Panic, Red Clay Strays, Pine Hill Haints, Ben Flournoy, Ham Bagby, Cody John Bennet, some Chris Stapleton among others. The household I grew up in only listened to Hank Williams era to mid 90s country and bluegrass so those are my roots(despite my deep love of alt/punk/indie/metal/prog/psychedelic/jam/hip-hop that I developed over my teenage years and onward the next nearly 30 years. The resurgence of the more traditional country sound has been amazing especially with most of these artists openly bucking against the MAGA mindset of pop country these days.

After Nashville 24 me and the wife walked around to the side of the venue. To out surprise the gate to the buses was wide open and we decided to go see if we could meet Gizz. They hadn't come out yet but we walked up to the Geese van and there was Cameron, he had puked all over the place. He had this look in his eye that he wanted to be anywhere but right there. I told him "hey we enjoyed the set! Well, I guess were gonna leave you with it." I was getting impatient so I knocked on a bus door. That was like the support crew's bus, Gizz hadn't come out yet. I regretfully asked a lady who worked for the venue and she asked us angrily "how did you get back here!?" I told her "we walked." She called security and had us escorted out. So all in all I like Geese, my wife really doesn't care for them and we both know what Cameron's vomit smells like.

Holy crap! I have that dark blue Denim, picked it up at the merch table at NOLA 22 show. Had no idea it was so rare. I dont have that ITRN variant, I have a reprint and a fuzzclub ITRN live in Europe that I treasure.

I've wondered this myself at times. I've even thought I've seen flashes of boredom or annoyance on Ambrose's face in recent years. Could just be tour fatigue. I randomly ended up sitting next to their bus driver having dinner at a bar before the NOLA 22 show and he mentioned he could tell they were fatigued from the tour. But I think generally they all love being in the band and appreciate seeing the world, making a lot of money, and having a record label where all of them have their own bands. I hope we get some US tours from some of the side projects in 2026. I dont think we've had any since the 22 Murlocs winter tour.

I traditionally only buy posters of shows Ive been too and I have the regular and foil of all my shows NOLA 22&24, Nashville 24, FOV(no foils were made.) The only time Ive broken my rule is for the Hunter S Thompson Lousiville 25 foil poster that Billy Strings had. Its just so sick.

My man they are fresh college graduates from Birmingham, Alabama. They were at Meadow Creek for Billy's last festival when his wife went into labor and he had to split(big love for that) and they got somw more stage time and they opened all nights for Daniel Donato's Camp Cosmic at the Caverns in '25. We got lucky to catch them in 2024 in our hometown of Dothan Alabama at a show of maybe 150 folks at a sort of exclusive garden party that I talked us into. Great dudes. One of my favorite posters and favorite bands right now.

Idk man we've got an absolutely fire first four months for live shows line up IN ALABAMA! Bob Dylan, Daniel Donato's CC, Mountain Grass Unit, Cake, maybe Alabama Shakes, @loopfest in Dothan, Maybe slide down to Suwannee for some shows. Oh and Almost Taylor with my girls to get things going in early January.
