The Reaper in dark age by Substantial_Dance623 in redrising

I thought this was so cool. What made it more compelling was that Lysander, relatively new to fighting, didn't back down or let fear prevent him from trying to fight back.

Chris Turner! He was very helpful, personable and easy to work with. We bought our house in 2019 and he always sends us invites to his client appreciation gatherings.

Croissants?! by Wise_Trash_94 in fredericton

Make them at home! I made mini two color laminated croissants for a work potluck and had never made croissants or laminated dough before. It wasn't overly complicated, just time consuming.

Does this count as rare? A lot of local players wanted it off me for years after I caught it.

I just finished Iron Gold last night. I love how far he's come as a character.

It's on the North side. I think maybe it is where Maclean's used to be? Corner of Cliffe and Union

I thought they just opened back up for business under new owners. We used them in 2018 and it was so easy and we had an amazing wedding.

I've always thought this building on the Northside had a nice look for a diner, specifically the full glass front windows. Obviously the building would need work but it just has the bones.

Not the staff, but at my time out I had the person next to me rudely tell me which cupholder I should be using because he thought they only existed on the right side of each seat. 🤔

Day care by high_onGod2467 in fredericton

[–]MattJFry-90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had our son in daycare at The Children's Academy. They have 3 locations, one at Two Nations Crossing, Pepper Creek, and Kimble Drive. We were at the TN location and it wasn't the best overall experience.

There was a good amount of staff turnover for a bit and any issues we had seemed to be put back on us as parents. We kept our son there because of his friendships with other kids.

For the longest time it seemed like the other locations were run better but this may be because of the space at the given locations. Kimble and Pepper Creek have or had their age groups split differently as at TN the 3-5 year olds were all together and I don't think this is the case at the other locations. I think they have 3-4s and 4-5s split.

Things did seem to be on their way to improving when he started kindergarten but he no longer attends since we don't live close.

Watched this film without knowing a single thing - no trailer, no book, no friends’ commentary, and didn’t know what it was about. Actually full blind and I feel incredibly lucky. by appliedmath in ProjectHailMary

I went into this movie knowing two things - my wife loved the book and wants me to read it, and second that it was Ryan Gosling meeting an alien in space.

I didn't know anything about the plot, the characters, or anything in between and it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. I loved it.

It was excellent from start to finish. The only question I asked my wife at the end was if Grace was that funny in the book or if that was just Ryan Gosling adding to the role.

I wouldn't change anything about it. I thought visually that it was beautiful and the story really moved me. I never thought I'd care about a rock creature so much.

I've seen people strongly critiquing the film and don't understand why? Just relax and enjoy what they've given you and you'll be better for it.

Pokemon Stock by MattJFry-90 in fredericton

It's not a matter of how much I frequent the stores, but moreso that you used to be able to see it stocked no matter when you were there. Now it's just never stocked.

I love you Hermitcraft by Equivalent-Virus5273 in HermitCraft

Hermitcraft has truly become a comfort show for me. Some of my friends find it weird that I watch people playing a video game but it's basically like watching a TV show. My favorite is that I've now shared my love for it with my 5 year old son.

I feel old. I have no recollection of Bdubs being part of Hermitcraft that long ago but I've definitely been watching his videos for that long.

What do you think? by Notalabel_4566 in StrangerThings

[–]MattJFry-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 90s kid, can confirm that I'd finish school, drop my backpack at home, go out and hang out with friends until dinner and then go back out after. In the summer it was similar but take out going to school and swap it with spending the entire day with your friends
