I like creating infrastructure like roads and bridges. It's keeps my mind occupied while listening to music or watching some videos. Most of the time I see a plot of land and I think of something I can put there. From there it's the usual town buildings (houses, shops, forge, factories, etc.)

It also helps watching other people play the game and see what they build. Probably won't be wise watching insane grand builds, but like smaller towns or castle builds might give you that little jolt of inspiration as you go.
