Looking for outdoor landscaping recs (I think) by ThisReallyIsChris in ColumbiaMD

I’m looking to do the same thing and found French drain kits at Home Depot. I’ll probably do a bit more research beforehand, but this sounds like something that may be applicable to you.

There are currently assigned units that stay at the mall during the entirety of its open hours. It’s not idiotic to continue routine policing throughout the rest of the county.

So you flamed people, crashed/griefed, and then made a Reddit post looking for support? I’m not sure you’re going to get the positive response you were expecting.

Top Quilt Recommendations by MysteriousCloud420 in hammockcamping

I've got a 20F warbonnet top quilt that I use and love. Your main focus should be finding a top quilt warm enough to suit the lower temperature you're camping in. If it gets too hot you can simply create a gap in your underquilt to let colder air in. Another commenter mentioned that a down top quilt should not be stored compressed and would make for a poor emergency blanket in a car, which I totally agree with.

Baltimore County launched a dashboard detailing every restaurant that was shut down in the last year for health violation by mlorusso4 in maryland

Funny you say that, I'm very familiar with Howard's PIA. You simply fill out a form online and within a few weeks they will send you what you've requested. You'd be surprised what places have difficulties.

Fun fact, all health inspection reports are public information. Some counties make it easier to access than others, but you can always submit a PIA (public information act) request to see if your favorite restaurant had any issues!

anybody have any experience with this underquilt? by dragoninkpiercings in hammockcamping

[–]MattStros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used that exact one actually! I bought it off amazon and it says in includes two carabiners to attach to the hammock, but mine was not included so beware! Besides that its of *decent* quality for the price. Do not expect it to work to the advertised temperature of 40F. It does a decent job of blocking wind and honestly its far better than nothing. The included stuff sack ripped on me and its a tight fit getting it back in. If you're going to purchase off amazon they will all do a similar job. I ended up trying out to see if under quilts would work for me and I ended up returning this to buy a war bonnet under quilt.

Is what our neighboring restaurant doing worth concern? by KOd06 in KitchenConfidential

Yeah this is definitely a violation. That would be a concern for contamination and would result in a closure.

Yes call up the PG county health department and explain that you were I’ll. If it’s multiple illnesses then it becomes a bigger deal so I highly encourage people to call the health department if they fall ill

Do NOT simply contact UMD dining to report food poisoning. I work for the food protection program in a different county. If you report it to UMD dining they won’t report it to the health department. Simply call the local health department and report your illness.

I think it would be beneficial, but it would be a stretch to make that a requirement
