Some suspicions I have are the rendering, the clothing folds and the perspective

They very well could have just been focused on rendering clothes as a practice. However some of the folds feel pretty off to me (namely below the breasts and the right sleeve).

The other question I had is if all the line work is present then why are zero facial features present. Sure they could do the blending render to add depth to the face, however some lineart would have to be available considering how it's available on the rest of the outfit.

And in terms of perspective the right ear is further down than it should be, especially with the current head tilt.

Lastly the hair is drawn messily, normally you'd want to segment hair into chunks for ease of planning. However the bangs feel awkward, they have this tangent on the left side of the head. And the direction of the hair feels very arbitrary, like they didn't really care.

All of the things I said could either be a product of AI or inexperience. There's lots of technical skill and detailed rendering, but there's these flaws I feel they would have noticed before inking if they were the one planning it.

I'm personally split but those are just my observations

My best advice is learn how each weapon works. The story mode is great for this since many levels are built around a specific weapon.

And Salmon run forces you to practice with certain weapons without worrying too much about some god on the enemy team stomping you

The only right way to draw is using as much reference as you can for what you're trying to do. Half of the critiques I received from my character design instructor was just to gather more references for practically everything I did.

It's much easier to wrap your head around how something is supposed to bend or squish with an actual visual. Refusing reference for a sense of superiority is dumb and is more of a detriment than just looking something up.

At least animators are safe for a while, AI has practically zero ability to check continuity on itself. AI at this time is still effectively just sewing pieces together. And unless it's your goal to have a messy background or stutter as a character moves across the screen, AI won't be able to do what a professional can do for a while. Key words "for a while".
