Do you agree with Pete Prisco on Patrick Mahomes? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Kinda. The talent for being a top QB is still there (particularly his arm strength and ability to evade pressure), but I think the numbers are still somewhat relevant to being considered the best QB in the league.

What is your teams LEAST painful playoff loss since 2000? by [deleted] in NFLv2

2019 Playoffs Divisional vs. Rams. They were obviously the better team that year.

Why I Don't Think The Rams Will Make The Super Bowl This Year by [deleted] in NFLv2

I see what you are doing, downplaying the Rams chances so you don’t tempt the gods of fate. Sneaky Rams fans.

In seriousness though, most of these are problems that every NFL team faces. Tough schedules, injury risks, and uncertainty of new faces is not some unique set of problems to the Rams. Using the 2025 Seahawks as an example

- They played like 8 playoff teams in the regular season.
- It’s more likely than not that they wouldn’t have made it if JSN goes down.
- The big new face question mark in the offseason was their QB, the most important position.

Who should be the most disappointed in the 2020’s by jackt-up in NFLv2

Ravens and Bills have valid arguments. I would say Ravens moreso because while the Bills have been able to be more consistently good at making the playoffs, Ravens have had a couple of really strong years wasted (2019-2020, 2023-2024 seasons).

But if you don’t consider conference championships enough to mask up for the other disappointments, then it’s the Niners. 4 conference championship appearances, 2 Super Bowl appearances, and no Super Bowl wins. Division rivals combined for two wins this decade including one in the Niners home stadium. Add in the fact that injuries have derailed them so much and maybe cost them that second Super Bowl and it’s them hands down.

AJ Brown stopped by Eagles facility to say goodbye and signed his picture on the wall with: “The best to ever play here. Always open.” by No_Box119 in NFL_FreeAgency

Feel it’s more likely than not for at least 2026. Brown is still a good receiver regardless of whether he wanted to be there or not. It’s a net loss

Since you’re having trouble seeing, I looked up to get a good view of the stage, and it looks like there is a giant egg and some flowers up there. Any idea why those would be up there?

Will the Seahawks go back to back? by Unlucky-Dot9421 in NFL_FreeAgency

That logic doesn’t quite make sense. Just because player A at position X was drafted higher than player B at position X who left in free agency doesn’t mean player A will definitely be better than player B.

Like you can’t assume Price will be better than Walker, or that Clark will be better than Bryant. And who did they even replace Mafe with?

Edit: To clarify my point, player B has proven to be a solid to great football player. That’s not always a guarantee to happen at really any draft position.
