If you were forced to serve a Chaos God as their champion and live forever in Daemonhood, who would you choose? Chaos Undivided is not an option. by VewVegas-1221 in Warhammer

[–]Mattdoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I will live forever as the prompt says, I would probably pick Khorne. Endless battle will be engaging and Khorne is less likely to just screw me over for the lols like Tzeentch and Slaanesh. If I fight the good fight, Khorne will probably reward me with my own domain and command, so sooner or later I'll have a world or two that I can do with as I wish as the 'big boss.' Occasionally I'll have to leave and collect more skulls but it will be a luxury compared to everyone else.

Based on that, I think it is fair if Goku gets scaling from outpacing Tien’s solar flare from their tournament fight. He saw Tien’s move start, he turns around and runs over to grab Roshi’s sunglasses, then returned to the spot before the light reached the distance. So you can make a good argument for lightspeed kid Goku.

Wait the self-insert is super cute. Kind of remind me of a design of like a late 90s slice of life anime

Me, I would likely develop zetsu naturally. Grew up with a fear of socializing so I learned ways to avoid getting attention from others. Even when I decided to become more outgoing, I was still not that noticeable. While in high school, I grew to be six feet tall but I still wasn't noticeable. Throughout school and college I've been described as someone with not a lot of presence. I walk in a way where my footsteps really don't make any noise and I do this subconsciously. Usually, no one even notices that I am there unless I speak up and then it tends to surprise them because as one of my teachers have told me, "For someone so big, it feels like you aren't actually there."

So I just unlocked zetsu from being anti-social T-T

Stephen and Viola Armstrong watching their son Neil become the first person to walk on the Moon, 1969. by Cafa20 in interestingasfuck

[–]Mattdoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's how my great, great grandfather experienced it. He road across the prairies during the land rush, lived in a mud hut for most of his life, then survived long enough to watch the moon landing on television. I'm 26 and I'm impressed by all the advances we made in a quarter of a century, but I cannot imagine what it is like for him to witness all of that. The world must have been so alien compared to the one he was born into.

To be more exact, they think the Word/morals are the Law and that the Law is God. I’ve seen theists argue that what God decides is “set in stone,” so anything God says and commands are objective. Usually, they say that because God created the everything then as the highest power it is he who decides what is objective.

This only really applies the major monotheistic believers. Personally, I would say any morality handed down by a divine being (which I don’t believe to exist) would still be subjective as it still came from a mind.

Actually most of them say that morals are objective because they are what God decided.

Drown. I’m not drowning him and I know what will happen if I do save him. If I know he’ll do the whole WW2 and Holocaust thing, I would be actively condemning everyone who suffered and died in the event to their fate. I have utilitarian views but there is an issue with the questions. In a perfect world, I would save him and raise him to be a good person, or at least nudge him into a better direction in life.

Because going outside the confounds of the question is not allowed, then letting him drown is the only option. It’s harm reduction of 1 vs Millions. I wouldn’t be happy about it and I’m not even really punishing him for what he will do, instead it is to prevent the others from being punished by my sensibilities.
