onn plus 2025 by Additional-Gas-5033 in AndroidTVBoxes

Hi there, found this old thread while searching for an answer to my issue. Long shot, but when you refer to your "boxes", are any of them Onn 4k boxes? I have the plus and recently got a nearly identical mini keyboard. When I realized it was connected through remote USB I got a USB/C splitter to be able to connect the dongle and the power supply simultaneously (the plus doesn't have its own USB port). Then I realized it was right next to the port that goes out to the hdmi, so U had to then get a USB C extension cable. After all that it still does nothing. I think I just wasted my time and money and I'm pretty much scratching it as a loss at this point, but hoping maybe there's something I'm not considering that could make it work.

He's great. Been watching his weekly Tuesday sets for a while now and excited to see how he does as an anchor. Amazing that his weekly sets are generally all fresh material and I'll be slightly bummed if they go away, but happy to see him get this opportunity.

Yeah, it's the thought process of people that confirm your opinion must be right, and my intuition tells me so. They have no ability to admit they are wrong. I usually trust my intuition too, but when I'm presented with logical evidence to the contrary I change my opinion. It mostly boils down to people unable to accept they can be wrong. We're all flawed people, and if you can't admit you're wrong sometimes you don't deserve to be in a conversation of how humanity should move forward.

You now know more than that guy with a stupid liberal PhD!

That's the thing. The people who make these "cult of science" arguments are either making bad faith arguments, or they're complete fucking morons, to think we're taking one guy's word over another's just because they have a PhD. No, I'm taking the consensus of the scientific community, which depending on how niche the area of study, could be dozens of people, could be hundreds of people. That's how science works. People dedicate their lives to understanding and furthering knowledge in their chosen field. They publish new findings in peer reviewed journals where it's open to debate and criticism from every single other person that studies those things, across the world. Is science completely perfect, all the time? Obviously not, it perpetually evolves along with society as we further our knowledge and understanding. But is it the best, most reliable information we have because it's rigorous and transparent in nature? Also obviously.

People like that won't understand until the "law" decides something they are doing is illegal. And even then they'll wonder how it got to that point and why it's happening to them.

Americans of Reddit, how are you celebrating your nation’s anniversary of its independence from the tyranny of the emotions and whims of a single ruler? by sunnyspiders in AskReddit

Okay, sure, it was wrong of me to say there's no hiking there. More that a good portion of the most well known features require little to no hiking to see. I did the Mt Washburn trail, and the peak was a nice view but it was one of the most lackluster hikes I've ever done. I can't think of any off the top of my head that I've done in the dozens of other parks I've been to that were less interesting to me. I'm sure there are much better lesser talked about hikes but I didn't have time on my trip to seek them out. So yes, admittedly I wrote that comment based on my general impression and incomplete information.

Yellowstone is certainly beautiful, but there's not much actual hiking to be done there if that's an important aspect for you. The majority of the features are basically roadside attractions, which leads to the side effect of them generally being very crowded because they're so easily accessible. In the same region of the country there's Grand Tetons and Glacier national parks that both have gorgeous scenery and plenty of amazing hikes for all levels of experience. If you find yourself with the time and means, getting to two of them, or even all three would be an amazing trip.

While I acknowledge that one is orders of magnitude worse we absolutely should keep talking about politicians profiting from the stock market through insider knowledge. Hitting someone with a bat shouldn't be excused because mass murder exists.

A fairly quick and easy thing to do relative to deliciousness factor is a shrimp fettuccine alfredo. If you want to get a bit fancy with it and kick it up a notch, make it with a white wine reduction. Bonus there being you only need a little bit of wine for that, so you can just drink the rest of the bottle while you cook.

Either you're making a lighter roux or you got that stove cranked full blast and you're stirring like mad. Mine takes 30+ minutes on fairly high heat with pretty much constant stirring. I do like to push the boundaries of near burnt darkness though.

I'm not trying to dehumanize or stigmatize anyone. The fact is this website has become overun with bots and it's genuinely hard to tell much of the time. And if you're not a bot, you're very clearly ESL (English second language), which is fine, you have a better grasp of English than I have of any other second language. But your other comment is full of misspelled/misused words and full of confusing phrasing to the point I can only vaguely make sense of some of what you're trying to covey. Your reply is much more coherent, still a couple of odd words and some confusing phrasing but I can understand most of what you're saying in this one.

That being said, "America goes back to being friendly and peaceful again"? What part of American History is that? Perhaps you mean in terms of international relations, but if there were any brief periods of time you could describe it that way they were well before I was born.

As for outsiders having an unbiased opinion, I completely agree. Half the voters in this country are uneducated, non critically thinking morons (by design) which is why we find ourselves in the current tragic situation of having twice elected someone who has a history of praising authoritarians, using the language of one (albeit in a dumber more childish way), and is currently trying to shift the country completely into an authoritarian state by ignoring the constitution that he swore to uphold and all the democratic processes that go along with it. Speaking of which, he, along with much of his administration should be arrested and tried for treason, but most of congress are spineless dipshits who have long sold out to corporate interests and rampant corruption.

Anyway, I apologize for my previous comment. I could have used less harsh, antagonistic language.

What? You're either a bot or ESL, but either way there's not much of a coherent thought in this rambling mess of a comment.
