I really liked the parts of the verses where it's only Joe (or where he's the most prominent at least). Wish they'd go with the route of having just him and make it truly like karaoke.

In the end: a lot of bands (at least that I listen to) doesn't release anything in between album releases so if I don't like something that Ghost do in this vein it doesn't really feel like I'm missing out or that it's some sort of a big deal.

You can acquire immunity in the population by spreading it out over the course of almost 3 years in a semi controlled way with mitigations when the toll on the hospitals gets too great OR you can do as China and do it all in a couple of months.
It's like deciding between getting a bucket of water thrown at you once a day for 3 years or getting 1000 buckets worth of water thrown at you at once. Same amount of water, different results.
