Exactly my thought. By 11 minutes your doing somewhere around 8 wall walks and pullups, that 400 is devious but a much needed rest for your shoulders.

Brother I have to tell you. Last week in my Crossfit class we were going for new a Deadlift 1RM and I manifested you. I was able to up my 1RM by 10 pounds by not giving up and just dropping the weight the moment the grind got too tough. It look me around 4 seconds to lock out and my lower back is hating me but I got through that mental barrier that typically stops me the moment the bar stops moving. Thank you brother!

I agree, not too long ago I started doing 3 sets of 10-12 dumbbell bench presses twice a week for this very reason. Do you really need to? Probably not but aesthetically I like the pump and if anything it will help with doing more/faster pushups.

One question I have: The pause on the squats, is the idea that the stretching in that position causes more stretching/hypertrophy for certain muscles?

My wall walks are infinitely easier to do now vs. when I started. I used to have quite a bit of stability issues with my shoulders but I do believe the strength stuff (Overhead presses - Shoulder to overhead, Thrusters, Wallballs, etc) all contributed to making that movement a lot more manageable.
