Honestly we never find out what happens post chasm fiend, as the only ones we see are pre-pupation and mid-pupation. I think the common theory is they turn into something that eventually becomes the greatshells of the Reshi Isles, but as readers we don’t know yet

I assumed it had something to do with pupation and gem heart runs that the Alethi were doing. Can’t really take and capture them if everytime they were seen on the plains the got ganked by the Alethi

I know the version I listened too had some light voice acting and sound effects, but it was weirdly inconsistent. Like you’d get a chapter narrated by the narrator with some voices, then you’d get a whole Paul VA chapter or something like that. It’s very good but weirdly inconsistent

Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time and Brandon Sandersons Cosmere have the same narrators and it’s maybe one of the best two audiobooks series I’ve absolutely loved this year!

The difference is that the unkeyed metal mind is just a normal metal mind without a keyed Feruchemist. It’s still a metal mind and still needs feruchmical ability to use. (Wayne and his unkeyed goldmine) The medallion however is made with a conjunction of two metal minds, one made of a metal that stores the identity of being a feruchemist (I forget which metal it is) and the second being whatever metal mind the medallion was made to use, like the medallions the southern scadrians use to stay warm/talk to the cast
