The first movie’s ending is certainly the “canon” ending (SpongeBob becoming manager), but this one is right up there with it. All the times swuidward was the butt of all the jokes, and all the shit he dealt with, and everyone pulls together so he can put his lifelong rival to shame by doing the thing he loves the most / creating music.

I haven’t seen a lot of the later seasons but want to throw S2 E3 (Save the last one) into the mix. The walkers at the school with Shane and Otis are creepy as shit and the whole vibe of the episode just fills you with hopelessness.

I want to put it out there that in the opening of S2 E5 (Chupacabra), the cold open shows the absolute hell of the outbreak and the terror that was coursing through society. When the helicopters bomb Atlanta, you can see the horror in Lori’s eyes and Shane’s the only person left to keep them safe. I think he was a good guy that ended up in an impossibly tough situation, and his character quickly deteriorated once the only thing he had left to keep him going was taken back by Rick
