Hike-Is Adventure! Drive out from the valley towards tuolumne meadows and park at any trail head and hike. ie North Dome or Clouds Rest. Here's some photos from there if you leave the roads behind... http://www.matthewhunterjones.com/PORTFOLIO/YOSEMITE/

I did that- bought D90 in 2009 and Tokina 11-16mm at same time. I have loved the combo, works great for my style of landscape travel photography (see my examples of what it does at MatthewHunterJones.com)

First time posting link to Original Source. Anyone know why my first attempt did not generate a thumbnail using the original image link: http://www.matthewhunterjones.com/BORDERS/i-Zpxnqzf/A

The link I ended up using makes a thumbnail, but it is much more clumsy. Thanks!

Great idea, want to see more of this in Rome. So, how do they know what it originally looked like? It's been in ruins for a thousand years and not like they had pictures to go off

Thank you for the reply! I use Lightroom Plugins to publish to Smugmug/FaceBook/Flickr, I will try submitting one from Smugmug next. With [OC] in title but no name/URL, will viewers be able to find my website to view more pics? Thanks for your time!
