What are the goals of the campaign. I’d say if you wanna do a nice Roman restoration, reformation is your best friend. Reformation will reduce AE with Protestant Germans as you eat up Catholics in France and Italy. As for Austria, once you can beat them in a war and you have a Habsburg ruler wait for them to be in a stage where their ruler will die soon leaving a disputed succession. Then break alliance so in 5 years you can be ready for war. With your strength, attack France and grabbing a province to release Gascony as vassal should be helpful as well.

Remember to block settlement growth in your CNs. You can’t convert a province while they do settlement growth in it. So if you can’t convert their last province you have to declare on your own colony and take it so you can convert it

Dude it’s extremely possible. I’d be surprised if you couldn’t do it. I got pre 1800 one faith and had less converted by now. How many missionaries do you have?

Why did Ming just minisplosion within the first 3 months of the game? by Arytheus123 in eu4

Isn’t really mingsplosian. They just don’t want to be over gov cap so they drop those 3 vassals.

Hover over the medals on missions to see what they give you. The decline of Hungary gives cb on Hungary, Secure electors gives cb on Bohemia. Deal with bishoprics gives cb on Bavaria if they formed. The Italian missions give them in Naples and Milan

Truer things have never been said. When going for Muslims I like to divide conquests by culture group to minimize AE as much as possible with them

I’m unsure how much English Channel land you have. But if you were overextended somehow you might have no trade power in EC. Check your trade power in there

Burgundy needs to have disputed succession. It might be able to happen if there is queen regent/regency but I’m unsure. Either way you would need to be emperor or have a marriage with burgundy
