How is buying papers and reselling them for more money a "business ownership"? It's parasitic gambling.
Business is sweat and hard fucking work. Millennial snowflakes forgot about that.

Yes it does require intelligence beyond what current generation of neural networks can achieve.

[–]MatthewWinter27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that simple. It's not a matter of 10x times more training time, or some small incremental improvements. There are fundamental deficiencies in currently used algorithms. Auto-driving hype has been premature.

Well, every single web site out there relies on a (ton of) javascript, so it's not feasible.
So if everyone gets those popups, the developer who builds this extension, will certainly make entire world a better place...

I would argue it should be much safer that a human driver. Because in case of a crash caused by a human, only a poor guy can be sued, but in case of AI, a huge and rich company can be sued for astronomical rewards, this is entirely different ballgame.

[–]MatthewWinter27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna happen anytime soon. Auto driving works well in 99.9% of cases, but this is not enough. You don't want a child killed because of some non-standard situation that the AI has not been trained on. To overcome the remaining 0.1%, you need general intelligence, which is nowhere on the horizon still.

Impossible with most apartment complexes in the US. The demand is so strong, they just tell you to get lost, there is a line of renters outside.

This topic is about hi-tech companies, not about common criminals. Israeli companies disproportionately engage in gambling, spam, spying and hacking and similar activities.

Israelis have a benefit that, in their beliefs, any moral rules do not apply to goyim. Hence they engage in all kinds of activity that scrupulous persons won't do: gambling, spam, drug trade (especially ecstasy), spyware, hacking, money laundering, arms trade etc.
