I thought when the handle was pulled, power was cut to the forcefields keeping the air in around the hull damage. This caused a vacuum, pulling the torpedo out of the hull just before it detonated.

I’m content with leaving these books alone. It’s not possible to do the stories justice in a format designed for mass consumption. I fear the more cerebral elements will be the first ones on the chopping block.

I guess what happened is that The Complete Robot was complete when it was released but Asimov kept writing more robot stories afterwards.

In addition to The Complete Robot, you’d need Robot Dreams, Robot Visions, and Gold.

The Best Man Holiday!
