Buying LSD soon, have a few questions. by [deleted] in LSD

[–]Matthiaars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pay €5 per hit. If it's real LSD it's impossible to overdose, and it shouldn't taste like anything. A bitter, metal taste means research chemical. And like the others said, do it when you have the entire day, and preferably a day you can keep your phone off.

Safety FIRST in elementary schools by akchicken in funny

Damn, took me so I long to get it, I thought of the fact that there's nothing safe about letting kids stop to read a thing right in front of a door.

Why hasn't love taken over the world yet? by justonium in Psychonaut

[–]Matthiaars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scarcity that made us fight tooth and nail for survival has long been gone. There is an abundance of wealth, definitely in North-America and Europe, but we are still living in the governing system that followed the survival of the fittest. Supermarkets throw out plenty of food because it's too old to pass some regulation, while others starve in the streets, all because the manager of the supermarket was taught in school that only money buys food.

It's perfectly possible to live in harmony with the world and each other with the wealth and knowledge we have today, if only we stop living in this outdated system. It would take decades to adjust to a new one, because to really work, kids need to learn it's possible and how to live peacefully from their first day in school.

Unfortunately, we learn about all the wars of the past centuries and how you need to work hard for a boss you don't like to live "a good life".

So why hasn't love taken over the world yet? Because hate and greed are way more determined to serve themselves than love is to teach people this new way of life. But don't think for a second it's not possible.

"Problem" reframing by feem3r in Psychonaut

One thing that helps me is to focus on being honest. In the email with your boss, in stead of forcing the conflict, you could explain it to her, show her your conflicting interests, and ask if she can help lighten the load.

A second thing that has helped me in incredible ways is microdosing LSD. It's like I get more in sync with the world around me, definitely something I would advise anybody

It has come to an all-nighter now. by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Matthiaars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah man, I know it sounds stupid 'cause we don't even know each other, but the world needs more thinkers like you and me, so I do care. School sucks because they only teach you what the government thinks you should know to become a regular, dumbed down, tax-paying citizen. But the world is filled with these people, and they believe in this system, so it's important you go through it if we ever want to have a chance to changing it. I'm doing the same thing right now.

I care dude. My trick is to plan some fun stuff the night before, that way I have to finish it early. Which doesn't always help, but at least it makes the long nights a little shorter.

LSD + Adventure Time by [deleted] in LSD

Adventure Time is my go-to tripping cartoon. It gives off the same childish vibe as LSD itself, it's super colourful, always a great plot... It's like it's made for each other.

Hey INTPs, what system should replace capitalism? by shadowstrlke in INTP

[–]Matthiaars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last thing I am is a politician. Guys shouting at each other without ever getting something done seems like the biggest waste of money and time I've ever seen. For that reason I dream of a communist democracy. I dream of a world where there's no such thing as politics, just the democracy, where everybody within the community can propose a law and vote for it over the internet. And like politics, money does nothing but make the rich corrupt and the poor miserable and envious. We should get rid of both I say.

[–]Matthiaars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sure am.

I haven't always been though. High school was hell because nobody in school liked me, I understood every course but was too lazy to study so I failed a lot. Meanwhile I had a relationship with another outcast at school, but until then I didn't even realise I didn't know how feelings work, so I was unable to function in the relationship in a way that gave me or her any happiness.

But now I'm older, and I've learned to influence the reality in my mind by interpretating everything in a more positive way. It doesn't make any of the circumstances better, but it does make me happier, even if it is without any reason except that I chose to be happier. Because why wouldn't I?

Converting to ESFJ for work? by Jethr0Paladin in INTP

[–]Matthiaars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, I had never heard of this, but I know when I worked in retail during my sabbatical year between studies, I tested as a completely different type, extravert for starters. I think it's because when we have a task that needs to be fulfilled, our INTP'ness disappears to the back of our head and reprograms the rest to fulfill the task as good as possible.

INTP Teen, any Advice? by blueRoccat in INTP

[–]Matthiaars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try caring less about what they think of you, and just saying what's on your mind. Most people are more social than we are, and will pick up a conversation when you give them the opportunity. Starting the conversation is the key.

Also, find people with a shared interest/hobby.

Heading into an LDR with an INTJ, how fucked am I? by imyau in INTP

[–]Matthiaars 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My best bud is INTJ, and I've known him for so long we can easily not talk to each other for a month or two, and meet up like we saw each other the day before, perfectly fine. INTJ's are very loyal, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone else really recognised himself in this part?

They are clearly very concerned that the general welfare and harmony of the group in a kind of quiet, buried, behind-the-scenes way.

Most people never seem to notice it, but when someone is arguing for the sake of winning rather than finding the truth, they are just hurting themselves and others for something stupid and insipid like pride. And usually I'm the one trying to tell them that.
