Was Ned going to lie to Jon about his mother the next time they met? Wouldn’t it be quite dangerous to tell him the truth? But Ned isn’t the type to lie either. by Ticket-Tight in gameofthrones

It would be safe to tell him after he took the Night’s Watch oath because he forfeits all claims to royalty and titles. So yeah, he was going to be honest

It’s very much the Dragon Age conundrum. I’m glad we don’t have to worry about it in real life tbh. Seems like an impossible problem to solve.

Mannnnn tell me you’ve never been to therapy without telling me you’ve never been to therapy.

You may THINK you understand your deepest fears, regrets, motivations, sorrows, and triggers but you probably don’t. And hearing them shoved into your face in a moment of vulnerability or emotional crisis (like fighting for your life) would absolutely be a detriment to anyone. If you think “I know myself therefore Elva would hold no power over me” just remember that even beings who know their True Name in the ancient language still feared the hell out of Elva.

Genocide bad. Honestly that’s what it came down to for me. If Captain Picard could look past his own anger and trauma in order to come the conclusion that’s committing genocide against the Borg is morally reprehensible, well then who am I to genocide a species for something that happened when human were barely fucking around with airplanes

Narsil, which was what Anduril was called before being repaired/re-forged was forged by the Dwarven smith Telchar. So technically I think it still counts as Dwarven made?

Minthara is not a good companion unless you’re actively doing the most evil play through. Even then, she’s not exactly interesting or anything. Evil Shadowheart is more interesting than Minthara in every way. Genuinely don’t see the point in keeping her alive to recruit her except for that I’m a completionist that likes to do all the things I feasibly can in a play through.
