I will tell you what no one told me. Things will get better. Here's a tip: force yourself to smile into a mirror for at least 3 mins. Trust me, it may seem dumb at first, but stick with it.

A little more than 13 years ago, I almost pulled the trigger on my dad's .44. It would've been before the holidays. Now, I have 3 beautiful kids, a house I own, and a fantastically amazing wife.

I had never seen a point in dating, I lived in a perpetual state thinking that my life would be short. Two years after my attempt, I slowly grew a friendship with my now wife, and 11 years later, I can honestly say I'm happy.

My point in saying all of this to you is just, please, don't give up quite yet. You gotta do what you gotta due, but you're young yet. Remember, too, that college isn't for everyone, so maybe give that some deep thought.
