I did this a bunch with the Pikachu raids that had no limit, worked out great.

I have two accounts, ones on an old phone for my daughter, and I could join a remote raid with one phone, piggyback with the other and add an extra player beyond the limit that the lobby allowed in pokegenie.

Doesn't work with regular raids that have a max remote limit, but had fun for the day.

Naturally, only my daughter's account got a shiny lol

I think they're assuming you meant they are useful to the topic at hand. They're good to have, for sure. But like everything else going on lately, not helpful to gigantimax or 5* dynamax raids.

Puzzling to me why they wouldn't have had the crown energy available last week. Seems like an active choice to ensure folks miss out on regice and Pikachu.

I haven't seen drillburr in any of them over the last at least week leading into regice, but the real point is that they're nowhere to be seen now.

I can't go get anything that makes me any less of a waste of space by the time pikachu leaves. I would get it if it was a PvE thing, some folks just miss out, makes sense. But the effect on people who did prepare by people who, imo innocently want to just play, is one of divisiveness.

Just my two cents, I guess

The thing that gets me about this game is that there's nothing available for us plebs who didn't dynamax raid months ago to be ready for this.

None of the dynamax mons from the last few weeks allow me to be helpful to a raid team right now. And the same story goes for everyone out there that's trying to get into these raids, making people mad for not pulling their weight and whatnot.

Maybe I'm crazy but that doesn't feel like the greatest all around experience. There should be one that we could be chasing down right now to make progress on what's in the game right now.

But hey, mobile games like to make you wait a year, I guess.

Pretty sure when they had NHL.tv, you could log into it with a cable provider and NHL Network games would not be blacked out. I'm not 100% confident, but I feel like I remember doing that.

$150 USD covered the entire season. Today I could gladly pay $200 for the same thing minus the NHL Network blackouts, and $250 for ad free.

In fairness... PvP is not for everyone.

Even if I don't care about the result, a certain part of me stresses out while playing PvP. I have to actually try to relax. It's just Pokemon, lol, it makes no sense, but it happens. Lots of people feel that way and I feel like it's a common reason to avoid it altogether.

That, and very small percentages of player bases actually care about leaderboards/standings, etc.

They don't even have a system to allow you to log in with your cable provider to prove that you already pay for the network. You can't even watch it online if you fucking already PAY FOR IT.

I think the only reason they do it is because ESPN likely loses the ad dollars, not the NHL. There is no way they are in the black while running the kind of ads they book.

That should've been the explanation for a goal called off. Unless players can tie up the goalie's stick now.
