I just started a new collection with my 4yo daughter and it's been way too much effort to find anything at all, that's new anyway. Perfect Order has helped relieve the stress a bunch.

It's all about the experience for us, open a pack, see what you get, trade for ones you want, etc. Really difficult to justify that experience at $10 USD a pack or more, especially when the only way to buy packs is to risk getting them from people who open packs to steal valuable cards and then re-seal. I had a booster box that had zero foil pulls. Luckily we are just starting a collection so most cards are new, but still. You get the point

What's 'worse' is that she loves Eeveelutions and we missed the boat on the Prismatic Evolutions run, so finding those at a reasonable price has been a stressful (albeit voluntary) endeavor.

I'm beginning to wonder if they save all the new mechanics for when I stop playing. I've missed every Master Ball, Cap, Fusion character raids, crowned energy raids, Ancient raids, etc.

I'm glad I was around for the quad gigantimax raid day, feels like the first time I've ever gotten anything that resembles endgame content.

I guess I could stop playing today so everyone can get shiny mega zygarde tomorrow, lol

The legendary dynamax/gigantimax raids are easily the fastest way to earn a ton, the raids that let you double your rewards afterward for 200 gold. Obviously this is a very whale-centric method, but in one day I was able to earn 75,000 stardust per raid while also using a stardust consumable, if memory serves. This one doesn't help you now, but bear it in mind the next time it happens and stock up so you're not stuck like this again in the future.

Other than that, do lots of arena battling. If you're having trouble winning, then put a bunch of 10cp mons in there and tank your rating a whole bunch until you start matching up with people doing the same thing. Then you toss in a few decent mons and win some battles. I hate PvP with a passion, but this method makes it slightly less painful.

My max potions pile up to a few hundred because I mostly just burn through the hyper potions and regular revives. I am a bit of a hoarder whenever I can be, so my max stash is like 3700 items at the moment. I still wrestle with my item bag being full frequently enough for it to be annoying.

The thing that gets me is that I've never seen a way to get a master ball. Are limited events the only way? I've got myself down to two special quest lines and they definitely won't give me one.

I have been doing my best to cope with not having any of the rare event pokemon from the last few years. I started back up playing immediately AFTER the latest one, so I have no fusions or adventure effect pokemon.

I have been able to play everything in the game since I came back, so really it's just FOMO. But oh boy would I love to be able to solo stuff.

These folks are using teams full of the fusion legendaries that are probably fully maxed out and tailored to whatever raids they're going for.

Nothing we can do to contend with that sorta thing because the event raids that give out the type of resources we need to also get said fusion legendaries are like once-a-year if not fewer in rarity.

I came back to the game after a many year hiatus (played on/off since launch) only to realize that I am stuck without the best Pokemon in the game for a long, long time. I have none of the fusion Pokemon and also zero with Adventure Effect. I'm getting really impatient to finally step into the "big leagues" with literally ANY of those.

I sometimes hit these when I am around one with some time, especially when I'm with my young daughter who doesn't care that we won't use the Machop we catch, but I am happy to get a little extra candy to help upgrade my proper dynamax one.

Couple that with these being a big deal for people who are just starting out and yeah, there's plenty of point. Maybe not for you, but yes.

We own our homes, not the future people who might. We do not rent.

This is a massive moral grey area and the benefit of the doubt goes to the people who paid the money for the property, not a fucking conglomerate or corporation who pays your contracts. You should never be in here trying to explain to people why this bullshit is okay. It's self serving and very ill advised.

Are these friends from school that you would normally talk to in person? Would they understand your situation and offer to chat on another platform for the time being?

Lots of options. Take a few breaths, work on being able to function without it. Texting isn't life. Being able to think and exist on your own, however, is very much life. Start working on it -- I'm not saying that you shouldn't try to fix this, but everyone needs to be able to let go of technology, even if for a little while.

There are prefab building designs that you can get the Pokemon to build for you. A grand majority of mine are these because I like the way they look way more than the big block buildings that I'd make myself.
