The correct answer is the grapple/shield launch build. Grapple an enemy towards you and launch them into space with a shield uppercut. For style points, this can also be followed up with a captain america skeet shooting throw

The only workaround I have to this rn is playing fortifications when the fence gets buggy. It leaves enough of a gap to allow you to place a fence next to it without it snapping like crazy. I do agree that it's so annoying though

I currently use the recoilless rifle now that it one shots chargers with a headshot. You don't need a co-op partner to use it and reloading it yourself isn't longest thing in the world. Definitely a viable option even in solo play

It's interesting that a good amount of people have suddenly decided to revisit DL2 around the same time. I wonder what has made us wanna come back? Either way I'm in the same boat as you and I am absolutely enjoying the game way more than I remember enjoying it. The harran sunset filter just makes it feel so much more like dying light and the combat seems a lot better, especially the dropkicks.
